Passions and Interests

As an outdoor enthusiast, my passion for outdoor activities is endless. There is nothing better to me than spending a lazy Sunday afternoon with my family, in my canoe on a wooded creek. To sit back and hear the sounds of wildlife while meandering down the watery path is pure happiness. While paddling, I often like to pull up on shore to look for local wildlife, suck as snakes, spiders, birds and the occasional armadillo.

If I’m not traversing the waterways, you can always find me traversing the trails. Hiking has always been one of my favorite past times. The most incredible trail I’ve ever done was on a trip to the Great Smoky Mountains. The trail was called Ramsey’s, and took it’s hikers up 2500ft over 4 miles and ended at a breathtaking 120 ft waterfall. Huge trees, giant boulders and rough terrain all await the brave trekkers who dare to take this trail on. It is these types of trails that I love to tackle.

All that outdoor fun aside, one of my other true passions is simply hanging out at home with my family. There’s something comforting about lying on the couch, eating snacks and watching a good movie, all along side my wife and the pets. Add a good rainstorm outside, and you have the perfect day.
